Has anyone come up with a mod to view the television from the rear bunks? My wife and I plan on keeping the dinette up and sleeping in the rear bunks. I was thinking adding an additional swing arm piece should make the television swing out far enough for rear bunk viewing. I have an email to Kendra with FR to see if I can order a swing arm but haven't heard back yet.

Kendra let you know about the arm when you talked to her about the Dome price?

oh they should be.  she's relatively new there, but if you called and wanted to buy the tape they use to tape something the parts department would sell you a roll of it.

but they might come attached to the tv's already so she could be right.  hadn't thought of that.

good luck though, hope you can get what you want.

FWIW: Our situation is similar.  We have a 2013 172 with bunks in the back and dinette up front.  It's just me and my wife plus three golden retrievers.  To make room for the dogs we've mod'd the dinette to remove the storage by the sink and open up some floor space, moving the storage on the top-sink-side of the back row seat of the dinette. I added a fold up table to the side of the sink for more counter space too.

To support wireless entertainment, I'm replacing the DVD/TV player under the kitchen cabinet.  I'm building the PiBox Media Server and PiBox Media Player (ask if you want URLs) based on the RaspberryPi board.  The server will connect via HDMI to a TV that will sit on the storage-mod we made in the dinette area so we can watch if we're making a mean or sitting in the dinette.  Eventually this will fold down when not in use to unclutter the area.  The media server (which acts as a wifi access point) will stream videos (and TV, eventually) from USB flash sticks to the media player which will be connected via HDMI to handheld projectors (AAXA Technologies cheap-end, which run about $120).  The media server also provides a back-up webcam that streams to Android devices (haven't tried Apple devices).  Audio from the media server can be streamed via Bluetooth so we could watch the big tv from bed with speakers by our heads.  There is a slight lag with this but not really noticable.

We plan to use the media players (with bluetooth audio or maybe just wired speakers) in the bunks when we go to sleep at night.  We also plan to use them outside, in the R-Dome, to project onto the side of the R-Pod.  It's our "drive-in-theater" experience, under the dome.

Most of the hardware and software has passed indoor testing at my house though the software UI is klunky.  We'll be taking PiBox's out on our next podventure for a test run.
