Since I posted on another post, thought I would introduce us at this time too.  Been looking at pods for a few years now, and last November on the way back from the kids house in NC we checked out all the dealers between there and Wisconsin.  In December, we purchased a 2014  178 with all the bells and whistles - or at least most of them!

We pick it up in about two weeks, as it was easier to leave it sit on the dealers lot where it was buried until Spring???

Anyway, looking forward to getting on the road again,  have had tents, slide in truck campers, pop-ups and most recently 33 ft bunk house.  No kids now, just the two of us and maybe grandkids once in a while - we're ready to roll.

Been reading the forums a lot, and thanks to everyone sharing info.  Great information here.

Happy Trails

Where do you like to camp on Washington Island? Have been thinking about Door County for a trip this summer. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

WI has only one campground: named oddly the Washington Island Campground.  Nice folks, lots of wooded sites.  Door County had bunches of campgrounds.  Weekend sites at the state parks are full already unless you luck into a cancellation at just the right time.  Some of the private parks may have something.  They always have something at Washington Island.
