I think the ceramic are better as you will not get the black brake dust all over your wheels, I have them on the Jeep and my work car and both stop great. I thought that they were standard on all new cars. Goose ------------- Mother Goose's Caboose..2011 RP171..07 Grand Cherokee

Yes, if I am not mistaken, the ceramic should be speced on a 2010 F150.. you can buy organic pads, and that is what a cheesy dealer will put on for the used car "fresh brakes" claim. But ceramics are by far better, and worth the extra money.

It is my understanding that Ceramics work very well under normal conditions. If you routinely do severe braking(police, taxicab, Very heavily loaded) then Semi Metallic brake pads are for you.
