| We just bought our brand new 179 R pod about 3 weeks ago, and our left taillight is half full of water. It's a little disappointing considering we have not even used it yet. Has anyone else had this problem? |

Did you contact your dealer? Sounds like some sort of seal issue. Get it fixed as soon as possible, you wouldn't want the water to cause an electrical issue. |

Yeah.... things can happen, but, just give the dealer a call.. that is what a warranty is all about.

had same problem last November 2013. drilled a tiny hole in to the bottom of the lens, water drained out and no more problems. drilled from the bottom up into the lens. |

| I don't think I'd drill the hole till you have worked with the dealer. The may have a fix that involves a seal. Drilling a hole would interrupt the integrity of the light. If it was a 93' Volvo with a lens leak I'd drill, but not with something new. |

Being brand new, call the dealer and have them replace the light. Sounds like that light has a seal failure and in time will fail completely due to corrosion. Goose ------------- Mother Goose's Caboose..2011 RP171..07 Grand Cherokee
