I have reserved 40 full hookups at Oceanside RV Park in Charleston, OR. Dates are Sept. 4-6th. The phone number is 541-888-2598. I sent an email to all who attended last year and already have 15 spots reserved. Will also post on other Pod forum and the FROG forum. These will go fast so if your interested make your reservations now. Also let me know if you coming and how many in your party. Forest River is hosting a dinner on Friday night and I need to have a total count of mouths to feed. Had a great time last year and I expect so this year. Safe Travels

The Pacific NW Roundup for September has only one space left. If anyone is interested in joining another 39 RV's for a three day weekend at the Oregon Coast, now is the time to call. All the info is at the top of this listing. Of the 39 Forest River RV's, 29 are Pods. Come and enjoy the camaraderie and tour the other Pods for their mods. Forest River is again graciously having a catered dinner for us on Friday night, and Sat. is our potluck and then a big campfire on the beach. If it sounds like something you want to participate in, contact the campground now. See you in September. Safe Travels.

I know it's kind of last minute, but is there anyone that can't make it, and would like to sell their site? Wink

We are oversubscribed. There is a long waiting list at the campground. We have 44 RV's with 31 of them Rpods. A total of 84 campers, from all over the nation. Your response has been overwhelming. In the last three days, I have had additional requests for spaces. Wish I had more. I am planning for next year and will request 50 spaces with an additional 25 if the campground will allow it. I'm humbled and delighted with all of the support from you all. We should have a great time again, and I have again been able to get some terrific items donated from Camping World. See you all there. Safe Travels.

First I want to thank Camper Bob and Sue for all the work and time they put into putting this roundup together, we had a great time and met a lot of nice people, so thank you again Bob and Sue.
Side notes, we were driving down the I-5 to Seattle when I noticed a pod behind us, they followed us for awhile then pulled out, came up beside us then fell back behind us and followed us until we pulled off for a break at a rest stop. So did they. We met Julie and Mike from Washington Mike said "I pulled up beside you to make sure it was a pod" and when he saw the nose on the pod he said that he had to see this pod.

Next thing that happened on the coastal highway was that we pulled off the road at a viewpoint, the first one where we could see the ocean, and a couple that pulled in before us got out of the car to take some pics. They turned around and saw the pod, took a couple pics of the pod and left without taking any other pics. I guess it couldn't get any better than that.
When we got to the Oceanside campground a woman stopped us in the middle of the road (Elaine,)welcomed us and told us that Julie posted pics of our pod and said that we were coming. Wow technology!

I think a good time had by all.

On the way back we went inland and stayed one night at a KOA campground at Leavenworth, wow what a tourist trap, but in the end worth it, the flowers in little Bavaria were just amazing but the prices. Here is a list of campground fees.

The last leg was from Mount Robson Provincial Park in BC. I just couldn't pass posting this pic because the mountaintop is normally covered by clouds.
Once again thank you Bob and Sue.
