Interesting point a friend shared with me the other night over cocktails. I had no idea Warren Buffet's company was behind my awesome little R-Pod.

Me, too.  Might add that the last portion of his comment is not appropriate for this or any other forum.

I too have known of Berkshire Hathaway's ownership of FR. I take this as a good sign since Buffet doesn't invest in losers. He typically sets about adding value and quality to a company he buys.

Berkshire Hathaway owns some well known, respected brands in the US that have been around a long time. Geico, Dairy Queen, Sees Candies, Fruit of the Loom, Russell sports wear, Justin Boots, to name a few. Pretty damn savvy that Warren Buffett. Forest River will be around for the long haul with BH backing them.

BH and Warren Buffett also own the company I work for - Real Living Real Estate (use to be GMAC Real Estate).

Say what you want but things around here are run quite well - and it didn't hurt that we got an employee discount on our Pod!

I also have been aware that Warren Buffett owns Forest River. Am delighted that he has such high regard for the company that he bought it. He does not invest in losers. Whatever your politics, he is surely a winner as are his investments. Safe Travels.
