I am using this charger for the r-pod deep cycle battery.

Very easy to use and the recovery charge setting is the best option. (dead battery)
Hold down the mode button for 3 seconds and it goes into recovery mode.

For trickle charging just connect, you do not have to choose which type of battery or voltage setting.
great charger.
Now I do remove the battery after each camping trip and connect to the charger.
