anybody out there try or use solar panels? I know there is probably a thread about this somewhere on this forum but I have not found it yet. Out here in the west sunny days and starry nights you know.Smile

Used the following for home made solar panels.
Got 2 solar panels, put them back to back with solar glass on outside.
piano hinge on one side and suitcase style locks on other with carrying handle all rivetted in place.
stored in the bottom door side storage bin.

20 foot cord connected to solar panels and rolled up inside panel case with quick connectors.

quick connectors, make sure to connect power to the insulated prong of the connector = red wire.

Install inline fuse next to battery post inside battery storage box. positve connection.

no adjusting just plug in and it starts charging.the battery.
