Greetings and Happy Holidays. We are new to this forum, although active at the MAC (Mid Atlantic Campers) web site which is a group of former pop-up people who have mostly gone to the "Dark Side", hard side travel trailer owners. We saw our first R-pod last year and loved it. Finally made our decision to "jump in" this fall and have been enjoying the heck out of it! We purchased a 2014 178 at Wide World RVs in Wilkes-Barre and have had it out twice so far, ( Glimmerglass NY and Indian Rock Pa) with a new years trip planned later this week to Elk Neck, Md.
You folks have a great web site here and we are all over the mods and information available.
Hope to meet up with some of you soon.

Brian and Mary Kay

Hey there PA folks
Welcome to the R-Pod world.
We too are from PA. We live about 20 miles north of Pittsburgh. Where is Bear Creek? Probably on the eastern side of PA.
We have a 181G and we love it. Would always like to meet new R-Pod owners, and even better if they are from PA.
We are familiar with the Wilkes Barre area - we have non-camping friends that live in Plymouth, PA. We did camp in their driveway for about a week one time. Good spot too! Enjoy your new R-Pod.

Welcome to another PA r-pod owner

As I said above we live about 20 miles north of Pittsburgh, what part of town do you live in?   There are more and more R-pod people in PA.

Are you buying your r-pod from the dealer in the Butler area? We bought ours from a dealer in Transfer, PA (near Hermitage).

Look forward to meeting you someday, since you are "local" folks.

Welcome fellow "G" owners!  You're in the general neighborhood, try and meet up with some of us during some rallies this year!

Welcome. Since the Rpod and Surveyor share the same factory, the surveyor is being built this month. My 179 rpod is expected to roll off the assembly sometime in March and should be receiving it the first week of April. Can't wait to start camping and my first rpod rally. The rally of the year that you don't want to miss though is the August forest river frog rally on goshen, in.

Marge and I (Jim) live in Upper St Clair, and we have a 177 Rpod , lil- bit.   I talked to our friends Bob and Sylvia about going out camping as early as May. Looking forward to meeting both of you.

Thanks for the warm welcome.  Snow and more snow has fallen and we are so looking forward to some warmer weather.  We have just 2 weekends planned so far.  Glimmerglass SP in Upstate NY in June and August close to home at the Promise Land.  There are so many places to see and so little time, but we plan to get rolling and check out several that are on our list.  The Goshen rally sounds like fun, but we have plans to head west in September.

Hi Jim,

We are not far away in Bethel Park! Got some news our RPod may be coming in in next few weeks. We are getting pretty excited about it. We are all in for getting a Pittsburgh Podders weekend going! Thanks for the post!
