My 2014 178 stays in an enclosed garage. When I went over to winterize this past weekend I noticed a puddle of water on the garage floor. There was a slow drip from the city water intake which has a check valve to prevent backflow. Right? So I guess the obvious cause is a faulty backflow preventer valve. Right? I've never used the fresh water tank because we've always had sites with water hookup. Is this a Forest River warranty repair?

First step would be to take the screen off of the city inlet and press on the check valve a few times to re-seat it.

Its not necessarily faulty.  As techntrek said, try reseating the valve.
