Jim and I picked up a 178 from a couple in Wichita, KS who changed their mind about owning an R-Pod. Lucky for us, too bad for them. We stayed the night and then headed across Kansas to our home in Colorado (south of Denver). High wind warnings greeted us, with 40-50 MPH sustained winds for about 250 miles. We stopped in Hays to install the stabilizer bar and that helped a bit. Once we crossed the Colorado line it was smooth sailing, and gave us a glimpse of what an easy drive it will be from now on. We will try to fit in a couple short trips before the snow buries us for the winter. We have never been so anxious for spring to arrive!
