1. Get out and really look at your campsite before attempting to back in, so you know where you want to position it.  If you need to, ask another camper to help give directions.

2. Take your time getting there and setting up.

3. Have fun!

Read this forum and wander around the Pod and then go read some more.
Set it up in your yard, (be careful of your power usage if you use a lighter extension cord) and try it out.

We had to proceed with a extra caution as we bought it from an aftermarket dealer on consignment without dealer support.

So far on two weekend trips it's all working out but this forum has been a blessing. I'm sure with out it we would have a couple, few fauxpods.  Big smile

Ok, let me ask a different question as I don't have a Pod, Hybrid trailer, and I've soloed many times. I was looking for some personal insight on the park/area.
Thanks

Yup, Yak has the solo part down.  Doesn't even mind hanging out with us podders at 10 degrees F.  Smile

Due to the fact that I had a cast to the knee on my left foot til Thursday it may have not been the best time for a camping trip, but I went. The most I could walk was about 100', so I toured in the truck. No rain but chilly and windy, no camp fire due to the wind.

Sorry to hear about the cast.  Definitely chilly and windy this weekend!  The Halloween displays kept blowing over on our trip.  Getting ready to check out your pics - I'll make your link clickable.

Promised Land will be tough without mobility, Yak.  It sits at the top of a plateau and the neat viewpoints are all walking trips.
There are a couple of other parks in the area that make it a neat place to be, though.  By now the leaves are probably on the ground or passed peak.  We really like the area, have been there a couple of times.

Have a good trip!

There and back, wasn't that bad with limited mobility though I didn't walk more than 100' at a shot. After 3 weeks at home with a cast on I had to get out.
