I would like to see removable rear stabilizers. I just purchased my first pod R-178 and scraped them three times in the first week. I know the R178 is longer than other pods and I assume that aids to the vulnerability. I think it would be a good idea to mount the stabilizers with quick disconnects for removal during transit. It would be even better to interchange rollers with stabilizers to protect from dragging the rear end over uneven street intersections, driveways, steep hill transitions.   Also the 4" risers should be standard on the R-178. Thanks for listening.

Myself, I would rather they did away with stabilizer jacks and put real jacks on all corners.  I agree about the risers.  Without them the Pod is just to low.

No telling how much steel (weight) they'd have to add to the frame to allow for jacks on the corners.  I suspect FR doesn't think the trade-off would be worth it on a trailer sold as light-weight.  Within reason, I agree with you though.  A stiffer frame would make changing a tire easier, and you wouldn't have to look for a jack.  Leveling would be a lot easier too.

You also run into adding things that many users don't want, which on a per unit cost may not seem that much, but on a years production run, does. People who NEED removable stabilizers add them. I only know of a couple people who have done it.

I like the Jack savers. That looks like just what I want to do. I'm not interested in actually lifting the Pod just stabilizing. thanks for the response.
