| Has anyone installed a cb in their pod. Looking for Ideas on antenna location. I'm thinking about using the rear hitch as a possible location. Any thoughts or ideas welcome. Bill |

ground plane is going to be an issue wherever you install it. You are going to have to install an antenna with the ground plane built into the antenna elements. In reading up on mounts for amateur radios, receivers/hitches are mentioned as a bad choice because it throws a lot of the radiated energy into the ground. Can't beat it as a secure mount and w/o any modification necessary to the vehicle, though.
