I bought a battery kill/disconnect switch.  It is made by: Perko.  On the back are 3 bolts: Common, 1 and 2.  In their diagram they show 2 batteries and they are NOT connected together, number 1 for 1 battery and number 2 for the other.  Common goes to the starter.  Just to be clear all this is for the hot line only.

So, if I'm right, my 2 batteries with 1 line would go to either #1 or #2 and the Pod on Common.  Does that sound correct?

You are correct. The switch is designed to accommodate two separate batteries such as a "house" battery and an engine starting battery. Not required in your situation.
