Forest River needs to find a different Tv/radio/DVD player other than the Audiovox. 
Has anyone of our Podders found a way to adapt the antenna wires from this radio to an external antenna, automotive type? also I have not found a way to attach external speakers to get usable sound out of the unit.  I should have ask the dealer to upgrade this prior to purchase but never thought about it then.
Our T@B had a JVC system had great sound and good reception with a short rubber external antenna. It spoiled me.

Someone on here did a mod where they just installed a car radio/cd player next to the door, installed the antenna on the outside right next to the door, and also installed speakers under the bench seats. ------------- P & M ... and Comet too! 2012 171 -- The Monkey Pod 2018 Ram 2500 |
