SmileIs it necessary to get a microwave that says it is for rv use?  A dealer told us there is really no such thing: he just goes to Best Buy and gets one to fit!  Has anyone found it to make a difference?I do not want to get something that will not last.

I don't think there is any difference, never heard of one made any differently.  I used a dorm-sized microwave in our popup for years and that thing bounced around hard.  They certainly may not last as long with the abuse though.

From the vintage airstream side of life.. 1000's of streams out there built before microwaves.. most of them now running whatever fit in whatever space they wanted it to be at.. all of them I have ever seen have been just plain old microwaves.
