After 3 years usage, I've found a couple small cracks in the sealant around the roof vents. My only experience with trailer roof seal is the old school roll on stuff, which is not appropriate for the Pod roof. Sorry I missed reading this thread earlier. I have used Dicor sealants for years. It is probably the most used sealant in my area of Florida for RV roofs, roof vents, TV antennas, vent stacks and any other projections or seams on the roof. It comes in a few different colors and different types, but I use only the self-leveling lap variety on almost everything. It is not only great for sealing roof projections, but we also use it to seal around windows, doors, and any other "joints" on the trailer sides, including around access panels, coax, water, electric inlet plates, etc. If you use it around windows, let it set up for a short time and then tool and wipe off any excess with a damp cloth. Once it dries it remains flexible, but is there to stay. Most Camping World stores have it in stock, but be sure to read the specifications for each type before buying to assure you are purchasing the best one for your needs. I am having the exterior lighting recall modifications done by a local RV dealer, but I plan to check their work closely and plan to use Dicor, if necessary, around the roof light bar (spoiler). I use a product called proflex by Geocell, and man does it work,dries clear. I bought it to apply on my motor home,but before I could use it had a wind storm and a branch put a 3 inch hole in the roof. I pulled the aluminum Bach flush as possible and coated the area with pro flex then took a Tupperware lid put it on and applied areal heavy coat still there and never leaked. I used Dicor around the tank vent last month as the cracks were pretty deep. Used the self leveling product and did it in small steps so that it did not run down the back of the POD. Goose ------------- Mother Goose's Caboose..2011 RP171..07 Grand Cherokee
