I have my R-pod hooked up to house 15 amp circuit.  Just need the power to run lights not air.  However, I thought it should be able to power the a/c fan.  When I switch the fan on nothing happens.  Any reason why it wouldn't run?  Subsequent to this I tried to see if the heater would run.  It doesn't.  Breakers have not been tripped.  Lights and everything else works fine.  I seems as if there is no power going to the a/c or heater.  Any suggestions?

thanks,  Ron

by no means an authority on this, but it sounds like a thermostat issue.  15amp should run the ac as long as no other big draw items are running; and I believe the furnace runs on 12V power(so not a 15amp issue), so maybe thermostat?

The fan runs to cool the Pod when the thermostat calls for it. Cycle the thermostat to the fan, then set the temp on the thermostat to a temperature cooler than your Pod is and see if it runs.

I would maybe have to think a thermostat issue as well since neither the ac nor the heat will run from it.

Our AC runs just fine along with the fridge on 15amp outlet in my garage.

Just a note: The thermostat has to be in either cool or furnace to get A/C or heat. If left in the fan position you will only get fan.

Welcome.  Yes, even when hooked up to a 15 amp outlet you should be able to run the A/C.  Don't run anything else other than the lights, though.  I agree that you may have a thermostat issue assuming you have it set to cool and the temperature is turned down.
