We just purchased a 171 and are off on our first cross country trip. Our gas mileage cut in half. What have you experienced? ------------- Msoguy |

We just got home from a week trip and averaged 16mpg with a 2010 F-150. I kept it at 55 or less the whole trip. Last year I went south on a trip, ran at 75 and barely got 10 MPG. 55 is the sweet spot for me.

Seems that regardless of what anyone was getting before, they get 10-11 mpg when towing the Pod. I get 28-29 mpg w/o it, and have been averaging 10.4 with it in tow. ------------- P & M ... and Comet too! 2012 171 -- The Monkey Pod 2018 Ram 2500 |
