I'll have to check out some of the areas where we were going to dry camp this summer.

I'm thinking of hitting a few of them listed in GA.  Maybe spend 1 day in each.

Tented at the Berryman Campground that is on the MO map. and along the Berryman Trail in SE Missouri a couple of years ago, really quite a beautiful location, but you will feel really alone.

drycamp to me is no hook-ups (electric/water/sewer); your would likely use gas for your fridge, save the battery for the rest of the working 12V items; would  need to either travel with water in the fresh water tank or hopefully(not always) camp location would offer a fresh water outlet to fill up tank upon arrival, obviously with no sewer hook-ups, you would utilize your gray/black tanks for waste water; dry camping tends to be more primitive, quiet, and relaxing to me; I have dual batteries to increase my ability/length of time to dry camp

Bingo, in general it means no hookups.  In my case it means staying at Wal-Mart or Flying Js for part of a long trip this summer.
