Just a newbie question for the experienced podders.  We are planning to use some campgrounds along the way this summer that have water/electric but no sewer hookups.  If we were using the campground's bathhouse, and limiting the amount of waste water in the pod, how many days might I reasonably expect the holding tanks to last until I need to dump?  The camps have dump stations, but I'd hate to dump and repark more than is necesary.  It seems easier to use the campgrounds 'facilities'.

Thanks,
Kristy

You didn't mention how many of you will be camping in your RPOD... so I'll assume three.

It looks like your 178 has 30 gallon black and grey tanks. If you just use the sinks for washing dishes and washing up, you'll likely use 6-10 gallons per day which would fill your tank after 3-5 days.

The toilet on the other hand will fill slower at 3-5 gallons per day, so your black tank will fill in 6-10 days.

^^^About right^^^

One note.. don't "skimp" on water when using the comode in attempt to kepp it from filling to fast.. believe me, you want plenty of fluids in there too.. Come dump time is a bad time to discover..

flow problems.

I agree.  This was mentioned in the "instruction manual" we have here in the dry camping section:
