We are interested in buying an rpod in about a year.  Before we do, we'd like to rent one, just to be sure we like it.  Does anyone know where you can rent one in Florida or a surrounding state.  I've found some to rent, but they are over a 9 hour drive away.

I'm not sure of their policy, but you could try Lazy Days in Tampa.

Pretty sure they are not in the rental business, but they sure are in the sales business, and they have their
own campground on site.  Maybe they have a trade in, or, if they see you as a serious buying prospect,
maybe even a new model to try out.

Do not expect to take one on the road for a while.  I'm sure they're not into that.

There are RV rental places out there. What I would do is not concentrate on the model, but rent whatever they have, and in fact, take a couple different models out for a weekend. Take notes of what you like, and don't like, then compare them to what you find in the Pod..

Most of the RV rentals we have seen are U-Drive-em's.  Im sure that towables are out there somewhere,
but not readily available, IMO.

Bear in mind that the TV and hitch set up come into play, making it that much tougher to "test drive"
a travel trailer, (or "towable RV", as someone suggested as the correct term).

Are you a Florida resident, or just interested in Florida as a camping destination?  Our 177 is available to
view if you are ever in Cedar Key.  Contact us at the pHp points below.
