A factory installed access door on the curbside dinette bench (177) would be awesome! Had this on a pop up I once owned and it sure saved a lot of work when accessing the storage under the bench.

Someone had previously posted a picture of just cutting a large square hole there and framing it for support.  Thats what we did and it makes setting up and down much easier as all of the tools are so easy to access.  As some one said, " We don't need no stinkin' door."  Safe Travels.

That's exactly what my husband wants to do with ours. I'm sure it will work just fine.

I cut a hole in the side of the dinette seat (without cutting any of the existing framing) and trimmed it out.  I call it the "shoe hole" and it does a fine job of keeping shoes out of the way.

I split the storage space under the dinette bench half built-in cooler the other half storage which is accessible from the top or the front.

We did one too. It is where we store the set up tools.

We did the same as Paige, but without the door. Stow wet or sandy footgear on site, tools or chocks or pads when traveling. Divider makes a handy extra storage space that is out of the way.
