Two camps down and xxxx # to go.

Went to Kelly Park in Apopka, Florida this past weekend with my brother and son. Watched the superbowl from the 'garage' as it's called. Looked like it was going to be a boring game from the first quarter, but it sure got legs as the game progressed.

The rest of the weekend we hiked, and biked, and relaxed. Bacon, eggs and pancakes every morning. Strip steaks, smoked chicken, grilled veggies and french bread every night. What a weekend!

Kelly Park is pretty extensive. There is a spring that comes up and crystal clear water flows creating a beautiful setting that people flock to and go tubing. The lots are a little close together in some spots, but in others, you get a better sense of privacy.

Bathrooms clean, campgrounds tidy and the entire park is pretty pristine. I highly recommend Kelly Park outside Orlando, Florida in Apopka.

That's a beautiful area. I've worked all around that part of Florida but haven't been to that park...yet. Sounds like another Florida Park to add to the 'list'. Thanks.

We just came from Little Talbot Island State Park outside of Jacksonville, FL. As always, a great park. The campsites are on one side of the road and with just a short bike ride, you are at the ocean with long and beautiful beaches.
