I just got the Pod back this morning from the rear light recall and it looks nice. We live in Southern Indiana so the leaves are gettig right at peak for color. Our Hilly Southern Indiana 3 wooded acres is ablaze with color and most people would probably like to camp in our drive way or in the edge of the woods, I checked on Brown County Indiana and the State Park is sold out, this is a big event in Southern Indiana, I have found several Private parks near Gnawbone that have a lot of sites still left. Dottie at Last Resort RV in near gnawbone said they still have a lot of wooded Trailer sites, water, electric, sewer, WiFi $34 or $36, that does not sound bad. I am going to try to talk Donna into going before we winterize. Stay in Last Resort and make the 10 minute drive into Nashville In, they have glass blowing shops, leather (nice leather) shops, arts, crafts, some pretty decent mom and pop eateries, the weather is supposed to be nice this coming weekend. Current weather in S Indiana 49 degrees, rain with a chance of sleet, grey skies, fog. I ain't ready for Winter

We would be out right now.. except black powder season is this weekend. Need chilli makings..

We intend to camp into December this year. Looking at O'Bannon for T-day weekend.. just going to drain the fresh water tank and leave the pod plugged in with a little heater running if needed.

We just got our recall done this morning..

Not stopping yet here.  I may go for a 1-nighter tomorrow night.  We are definitely at peak color and there is a meteor shower this weekend so it would be perfect.  Also doing a big Halloween weekend campout next weekend.

Furpod, I pulled out of my drive and went 200 yards and had to wait for a spiker to get out of my way, I have seen him twice little 5 in prongs, but he looks to be about 110 lbs, good color and healthy looking, they are eating the heck out of my persimmons. uuummmm deer chili. I love it.

Oh our son Dean bought one of those Harrington Richardson single shot 20 gauge rifled shotguns, put a nikon BDC scope on it and is getting 2 inch groups at 100 yards. Get the Grill hot, here come some tenderloins.

Just got back from my 1-nighter.  Near perfect trip, although we forgot the milk so breakfast was dry cereal and some cupcakes.  Mmmmm, cupcakes for breakfast.  Why not, they aren't much different than doughnuts, right?

Donna and I found a new camp sight today 10 miles from the house, its a Harrison county Indiana county park, 212 acres, olympic pool, tennis courts, walking trails, if you are 59 or older $10.00 bucks a night for water and electric both, pinch me what the heck, why drive 200 miles when you have this 1/2 hour away, we are going to try some local camp sights this spring, Harrison county has 6, and they have lakes, pools and are very reasonable in price.

There is a beautiful park about three miles from home.  We planned our last weekend out this year at that park, but life got in the way.  It likely will be our first time out next year.  Good trails and great birding.
