The last couple times I went tent camping, I thought "I'm getting too old to sleep on the ground!" Plus it was 95+ degrees out and dirty & dusty. I did a couple of short camping trips this summer, one in the pouring rain. Wet dog in the wet tent - ugh. Not ideal....

So, I finally decided to take the leap and get a trailer - my first one. I had another brand/style picked out online. I went to the local dealer; they didn't have any of what I had in mind. The sales guy was rude & I didn't like him. I asked if there was another RV dealer nearby. He sent me to Funtime RV in Tualatin, OR. The sales guy was awesome; very friendly and helpful. They had the RPODS there. It was the first time I had seen them and I was instantly in love. I chose the RP176 and I pick it up next Friday, Oct 12. I'm so excited!
Thumbs Up

As we usta' say up in Mass, "Wicked Good!"

In Florida now with a new 177 that we enjoy totally.  And I agree, a good dealer rep makes all the difference.  How can some people not get that ?!?!

Congrats.  We purchased our 171 from Jim at Funtime in May.  We are currently on our 5th outing and are currently in Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah.  Read all of the posts and you'll get some great info.  We recently had a Roundup in Seaside with some other Rpoders.  All had a great time.  Keep an eye on this website for other Roundups.  We will schedule another for next summer. Safe Travels.

Yea - I saw that there was a round-up in Seaside.  Sorry I missed it!  I will definitely watch out for more!

I happen to work for Clackamas County Parks, so now you've got a "connection" here!

Just got back from the Maiden Voyage. Went to the Oregon Coast. Nice, stormy weekend kept me inside for most the time, so I got to test everything. The only issue I had is the oven. It took over 2 1/2 hours to cook some quartered potatoes. I thought for sure convection ovens were faster than conventional. Ended up microwaving them. That's on the list for discussion with the dealer. Also, and I think I've seen this addressed on the forum, the mattresses on the bunks are not so comfy. I tried doubling the mattresses, but didn't leave much wiggling room when on the bottom bunk. I kept a notepad handy and made a list of things I need/want. It was a fun, first trip.  I think I'm going to enjoy this RPOD thingy!!

We had the same problem with our pod , the light, turntable and the fan worked fine but it did not heat.
Turned out to be a loose wire.
