Nice looking install, I like the padlock (keeps honest people honest) I have been thinking about a simlar set up, maybe smaller, I want a disconnect on the battery because my wireless brake controller wants to stay hot all the time and I have a seperate disconnect on it. thanks for the pix.

Very nice job. It looks like you mounted the regulator to the box too?

Your installation is very secure.  I installed a Bussmann Hi-Amp circuit breaker to the + side of the battery box.  It is weather proof and provides fault protection also.  The breaker is often used for trolling motors.  I also fastened a small 10# propane tank beside the battery to use if the 20# runs out of propane.

A note for the future, it is best to use two 6 volt batteries (golf cart batts) in series if you want to add battery capacity.  There are fewer issues than with two 12 volt batteries in parallel.  If you do the two 12 volt batteries you will get more total capacity if you always use them and charge them together - instead of using one, then using the other.  Look up Peukert Effect for more info on this.

Nice job. With the case sealed tight I might be worried about a build up of gasses from the battery.
  Just a thought.   Goose.
