Listing of dates and places has been updated on the FROG webpage of rallies for next year.
Carrie and I are planning to book and go to the Fireworks over Niagara Falls Rally and of course the Goshen Rally next year.
We'll have to book them one at a time once the details are posted in October/November because of the way our vacation scheduling works but we hope we will be able to get off for both trips.

The Niagara one looks interesting Wink

What's it like at one of these FROG rallies? Is there a structured schedule of activities that people sign up for like one of those big airstream rallies?

We'd be worried that we'd be sandwiched between 2 really large rigs on a narrow site Star

We looked at the FROG rally in Wisconsin Dells last season but it was REALLY expensive.  We could do a lot of camping for what that one cost, so we passed.

I think that depends entirely whether you consider these camping or little mini vacations.  In our minds these events are trips that we're looking to take with our Pod and totally different than 5 days camping by the lake relaxing and just being outdoors.

I've talked to some who went to the Cherry Blossom festival event earlier this year and also the International Rally and they absolutely loved these events.

We're waiting on the pricing for the Niagara trip and event details still, but for as many events and activities as I've seen them put into this year's rallies I can't imagine it wouldn't be worth every penny!

It seems pretty obvious, at least to me, that the RV experience cuts a wide swath from boon-docking, at the primitive end, to events like the FROG Rallies close to the other extremity.

In between are dozens, maybe hundreds of intermediate alternatives.

Each of us will gravitate towards the RV experience that is most rewarding-  hopefully with an ocasional foray into the lesser-known areas.  In that way, we stay alert and open minded.

Of course, and unfortunately, economics always intervene....
