| We are considering spending Thanksgiving in the FL panhandle, has anyone camped at any of the FL state parks in this area? So far St George's island is where we like the most, we have two boys ages 15 and 11 so we need various activities along with a great location. |

I'm a little embarrassed that you haven't received any replies yet, (being a Florida R-Podder myself), and I can't add any personal recommendations yet except to say that we, too, have identified St. George Island as a destination. I do know, from having spoken with some folks that had a place there, that your fun and activities have to be pretty much self-motivated, but if your boys are nature oriented and imaginative they should find a beautiful spot to explore and enjoy. This time of year many people are dealing with a new school year and camping starts to taper off (not for us), so this begins the slow time of year for camping boards.
