So I searched the forums for a post about replacing the AC Unit that comes with the RPod and was unable to come across anything.

First, let me be clear- we love boondocking and dont bring a generator. This means we will not be using the AC unit anytime soon. What I am looking for are items that would replace the AC unit.
I figured a fan or even a small sealed tinted port but wanted others opinons and suggestions on replacement items.

I am not sure of the opening dimensions once I remove the Dometic one but if anyone is aware, or has ideas/suggestions I am open to them!
Thank you in advance!Tongue

I think it is a standard vent size opening.

Yes, the opening is a standard size, the same as the vent in the bathroom. Not sure you would gain much in a camper as small as the pods by removing the A/C, since the existing bathroom vent is so close. I doubt natural venting would improve and if you use the existing vent fan it creates a strong breeze into all windows even on low. If you want the extra light, then you'll definitely get it by switching to a vent.
