Based on the contact info provided by another member here I went ahead and ordered a 48" Tube from the OEM company used by Forest River. I collapsed and measured the length of a 15' sewer hose and it is around 37 - 38". So, I am going to mount the 48" tube right behind the 25.5" factory supplied tube (under the battery). The extra length will make it accessible from both ends. So now    ...I will have a 15' hose (primary) in the new 48" tube, complete with elbows and adapters, and a 10' hose in the facory supplied tube. The 15 footer should cover me in most cases but if I need a little extra length I'll always have the 10 footer as a back-up.

I like the double-tube idea.  I've always carried an extra (new) sewer hose in the cargo hold along with a hose-to-hose coupler just in case I need extra length, and your setup would allow it to all stay outside.  Obviously if I ever used my extra it wouldn't go back in the hold!

Once I get the 48" tube delivered and mounted I'll take some pics. From looking at the factory tube and looking over the dimensions of the 4 footer it shouldn't be a huge hassle to mount.

Done     ...and I love it when a plan comes together !!

48" sewer pipe tube installed and ready to go. But the site won't let me upload any pics. Tried several times and it failed - - told me to contact the Administrator.

When this gets straightened out I'll add some pics. Honestly though   ...it turned out great. Almost looks like it came from the factory that way. I as able to get a 15' sewer hose with a 5" clear extention adapter mounted on it with no problem. I was short by a couple inches in terms of getting the ground pipe adapter to go inside   ...but that's OK.

I'll discuss the file upload issues on the "server issues" thread since you've posted questions there...

Okidokey    ...so here are some pics of my new 48" sewer hose tube. I left the factory tube in place as seen here. Interestingly enough, I discovered that the new tube would hold a 15' hose with a 5" clear adapter but not the ground pipe adapter that fits on my main pipe. Now worries though - - since I figured that that the factory tube holds a 10' extention hose AND the ground pipe adapter. Mission accomplished.

That works!  Simple enough.

Thanks Slogger.
