Ok I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

Took the R-Pod out for the third time, all was good until we hit the gravel road, rocks have taken out my grey and black water lines, fresh water sensor wiring, both fender marker lights (and yes I have mud flaps) now the dealer has told me it won't be covered under warranty, and they tell me this is because it is considered " operator error". Has anyone else run into this problem.

Cheers

Keith

Do you have axle risers, and who is your dealer.

Wow, that's a lot of damage.  I can see how they would claim that isn't a warranty issue, unfortunately.

It's not s warranty issue because it is not a quality issue. It may however be an insurance issue.

First thing that comes into my mind is "how fast were you driving to throw up rocks big enough to do that much damage?"  I believe that the trailers are well built but are not made to withstand alot of hi-speed off-road travel.   Just my thoughts.  Goose

Having never seen one, but I would guess that Hood River model is made to take more "off roading" than the standard model.  I guess I wouldn't drive my pod on a gravel road at any real speed.  But I tend to camp in some pretty developed areas.

Damage caused by use, or as this sounds, misuse, isn't covered under warranty. Insurance maybe, but not warranty.

If you tow it into something, or back into or off something or whatever.. it's on you. If you turn on the water at the sink, and the handle come off in your hand.. that's on them.

I had a rock take out one of my fender marker lights. I figured this might happen, as the wiring for the lights is inside the fender. I carry a spare as I found an RV shop that had them cheep.
