Just found out late that Madison Indiana is having "blues and BBQ" this upcoming weekend, 8/17 and 8/18. BBQ cook off, blues music, Robert Cray Live, we tried to go on line to book a site at Clifty falls state park. (really great quiet, shady place to pod out} Sold out 4 months ago. Donna found out that the Jefferson co fairgrounds has 150 sites, water and electric $15 dollars a night, yes they are out in grassy area with no shade, but what the heck. talked to the park manager he said dont need a reservation just come on up. we are heading up there this weekend, about a 1 hour drive, our kids are going to tent camp close by. there are having a big BBQ cook off.
