Any tips on cutting a couple inches out of the cabinet trim that the microwave fits into. I tried a router but I cant get close enough to the opening with the router. I am not a carpenter but I would like to do this myself without ruining the cabinet. I was thinking about a skill saw but how do you cut it perfectly straight? Any help would be appreciated. I would try somehow to secure a edge guide. With a straight edge a jig saw may work. A circlar saw may be a little large. I have made some very straight cuts using my Bosch jig saw with a straght edge. If you have a trim saw that may work. I have made similar cuts with the newer Dremel tools. Was a gft from my son and it is at home so I cant get you a model number. ------------- Alex and Marie 2012 R-pod 177 2006 Toyota Tundra
