They couldn't have been nicer to a pair of old people looking for a small TT.  The salesman Glen sat with us for a couple of hours and patiently answered all of our questions.  He showed us a number of trailers, new and used, and after talking with us we settled on the r-pod 171 in Tuscany.
On the walk through Don spent almost 4 hours (did I mentioned I'm a newbie), patiently showing me how things worked.  As a retired aerospace engineer I'm detail oriented.  He explained how things worked and then I had him go through, step by step, setup, tear down, winterizing, de-winterizing.  This was on a Saturday and he was called in specifically for our walk through.  I am sure he had better things to do, but worked patiently with us until we had no questions left.
We had our first overnight shakedown last night and had some troubles with the furnace.  First it lit and set off one of the detectors over the bed.  I decided it would wait until morning and so shut the furnace off.  In the morning it wouldn't light and I called Nelson's.  I'm pleased to say that I did have the gas turned on and I was on docking power so that it wasn't a newbie problem.  They made some suggestions, I tried them and the furnace lit.  They suggested that I run it with the windows upon for a while to stop it from tripping the detector.  I did that after arriving home and it worked.
Thus far the experience with Nelson's has been all I can hope for.

We also got our 182G from Nelson's. They were great to work with - very patient and helpful, willing to spend extra time. Too bad more RV dealers can't be like them.

Another positive experience with Nelson's.  We drove there from Salt Lake to pick up our pod.  They were very friendly and helpful.  Most especially the service and parts department during our walkthrough.

Welcome to the r pod world.
On our first trip out we had the same furnace issue at 5:18 AM!!
The dealer explained to me a new furnace grill has an oily film which will burn off and can cause the alarm to go on.  No problems since.  The dealer ran the furnace at 90 degree and it worked fine!

The other problem was the furnace wouldn't light, which turned out to be a spider that had spun a web in the intake side of the furnace.  I had to blow it out with compressed air and then it worked fine.
Thanks for the welcome.
The wife is from Barron, Wisconsin and we still have some relatives there.  I have my BS from UW-Stout.  In what part of the state are you located?

My wife and I are 1971 alumni.  We both had BS degrees.  She went to Madison for her Masters and I went back to Stout for mine.
She is from Sheboygan and I am from the Appleton area.
We retired to Mountain, Wi on a small peace full lake.  We still own a condo in Neenah, Wi.
