My new 177 still sits next to my house,I have a questin,without the rig being pluged in,only on battery There is no power in the 120 outlet,thetv and the micro,is this normal.when I put the 30 amp plug in every thing runs.I thank you very much m ------------- Manrocker Kh6rp |

The battery is going to power the 12v items, not anything that is wired for 120v. Thanks for the info,that makes me feel better,I installed a cutoff switch for the battery ,I thought I made some bobo somewhere but all is well.another question,is there a connection for my I- pod in the tv -radio system ,thanks m ------------- Manrocker Kh6rp |

Make sure you reconnect the battery and then charge it overnight by plugging in the Pod to your house, once a month, when it is warm out. In the middle of winter you can get away with longer recharge times but where you are in Florida you'll need to charge it once a month year-round.

Some basic questions from a newbie ... What happens when the Rpod is being towed and plugged into the tow vehicle - e.g. being towed? 1. Is the behavior the SAME as on battery power? 2. Does the battery Charge when being towed? 3. Can I run the fridge on propane when towing ... Or is that a basic no no? 4. what happens with the furnace ... Is this disabled when towing?

1. Yes, when towed your Pod's battery and your TV's battery are paralleled. 2. It should, but you need to make sure your +12 line on the Bargeman connector is at least 10 gauge wire, and have it upgraded if it isn't. 3. You can, but some people argue otherwise. It isn't illegal, and there aren't any warnings from manufacturers against it - but there are some tunnels where you need to turn your propane off. Personally I always pre-cool at home on 120 volts, and use either propane or 12 volts going down the road. If your answer to #2 above is "no", you should use propane until you get your wire upgraded. If I'm going to a campground with no hookups I tend to use propane right from home, one less thing to remember to change in camp. If I'll have hookups I usually use 12 volts until I get to camp and then switch back to 120. 4.
