l Got my bulbs today, they are the led direct replacement that was on a an earlier post, I got 8 for around 12 or 14 dollars plus 5 bucks shipping, I will go out tonight and install them to try them out, the incandescant lamps generate a lot of heat (therefore wasted energy) my 2011 RP-172 lights have 2 bulbs that the base face each other in the center, should not be a problem with fit ( I hope ) They came direct from China, several web sites wanted 12 to 15 dollars for each bulb, the Importers are making a killing. ------------- Dane and Donna Smith 2011 RP-172 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer 4X4 lift kit prodigy wireless brake controller |

When we bought our 172 the dealer wanted us to take the showroom model, we did not want it, all the lenses and sockets were brown from the heat. The first thing I did, change all the lights to Leds.I paid more than you did, but have 2 year waranty on them. ------------- If you want something done right, do it yourself. 2011 RP172, 2016 Tundra 5.7 Litre, Ltd. |

I got my bulbs too, the unobservant person that I am did not see that there was two bulbs for the price. I now have 10 extra bulbs.  I don't think they are quite as bright as the others but they are a lot cooler and better looking light and they use a lot less electricity. Now I will see if I can find a use for the extras. | I also recommend the same lights from the same manufacturer. The lights came from China in about 2 weeks. They emailed not only the receipt but also when they mailed the bulbs to me. Cost as mentioned by others was very minimal. About 1/5 or less than equivalent LEDs ordered from a US distributor. |

Hey David, as an AC Delco Tech shop owner they will fit in the same socket as a 194 automotive bulb, side marker lights, on some models turn signals and or dome light bulbs, they are kinda of a different cool color. I put in the new LED lights after it got good and dark, they are a different color of light, kind of a bright white kind of like a flourescent white. I really like them in the bath room, its much brighter with the white interior. In the kitchen area (172) I like the original bulbs, it seems like a more natural color for cooking and food prep.
