A few weeks ago I got the Garmin Nuvi 1450LMT GPS to replace the one I had in my Jeep. This one has lifetime map upgrade and lifetime traffic warnings. One thing that is nice is it takes the little scan disk things. I can't think of what they are actually called!! So I picked up a 6GB one for pictures to put on the GPS. So far I love this thing. Very easy to use and learn!

How does the traffic info match up to reality? I've looked at Google's traffic info a few times and compared it to our State's web site and it didn't match up in most places.

No coverage here! I suppose if I went to a large city or on the interstate it would work. I just haven't had the need to go there yet. I have updated the maps twice. All I have to do is hook it up to the computer and click on "check for updates". If there are updates it does the rest.

The traffic feature on my Magellan GPS has been spot on. I suspect all of them use the same infrastructure. But you do need to be near the city for them to do any good. It doesn't help with the Mayville 3:30 to 3:35 rush "hour."
