After getting home last Saturday during the freak NE October snowstorm, I went to hook up my power cable and *SNAP* the cover on the plug built into the pod broke off.  Cry  It uses two small pins to stay in place, made out of the same plastic material as the cover.  Apparently the material doesn't like being cold, becoming brittle where the pins are.  Of course to replace the cover I'll have to replace the whole assembly... or say the heck with it since it is still waterproof.

Fair warning to those looking to camp in the cold.

Once again the use of cheap plastic comes up.  There are plastics out there that won't break when cold.  It isn't like it was 40* below zero.
