For those of you out there who follow this sort of thing    ...when is the best time of year (if there is such a thing) to purchase an R-Pods, or any other rv for that matter ? In other words, when are the dealers most likely to be in a dealing mood.

Thanks in advance   ...

Only something I've noticed personally but if you know you want an RV of whatever type find out and wait until there is an RV show locally.

My own local dealer was at a show this spring and their "at the show" price was $1000 cheaper than their ticket price on the lot.

I'm sure many people will say wait until off season, and that might possibly be true but I've not personally seen prices waver any during late fall or winter months.

I can see how in anticipation of wanting to stock their lots with newer models that winter months might be a good time to drop prices on their older ones.

Winter, yes.  Also go into negotiations knowing that usually a sticker price can be knocked down by a third.

There are quite a few 2011 models on dealer lots and they are about to be a model year behind.  Probably a few 2010's as well.  If you don't like the price you're getting on a 2011, start asking about 2012 models...
