Damour,
Dry Clean only makes no sense to me! A shower curtain gets wet, so why does it require dry cleaning? The only thing I can imagine is it has to do with laundry soap. I had planned to use a product called DRYEL which allows you to "dry clean" in your dryer. Otherwise, WOOLITE, is another product I think is generally safe for dry clean only materials.
Of course, this is only my opinion!

We switched out our Shower Curtain with a different one that can be washed in the washer. I just went to look at the one that came with the pod and it does indeed state DRY CLEAN ONLY. Very Strange

This made me think so I checked the shower curtain liners in our house this morning and they are dry clean only also. They are similar types of cloth but as everyone has said it's rather baffling as to why they'd be dry clean only. For the Pod curtain I'd think it safe to hand wash and let it air dry, like it's been said it's already getting wet all the time?!?!?!? Indeed that is a funny tag to find inside of an RV.

ok i just had to do some more searching (Google) and came up with the following:
Polyester: On the face of it, any polyester could be machine washed (cold, gentle cycle, tumble dry low, iron on low), foregoing http://www.housekeepingchannel.com/hcp_31-Bleach - bleach because of color fastness. Many polyester http://www.housekeepingchannel.com/hcp_231-Shower_curtain - shower curtains

like polyester and rayon can typically be machine washed.

And remember folks, don't use your hair dryer or curler in the tub!
