Somone asked me that very question over July 4th weekend.  I had no idea what to tell them.
 
Then of course came the dreaded, "What makes it Eco-Constructed" question.    LOL

There is a Facebook RPod page, with Forest River folks in charge, maybe you can ask the question there and report back to us...

I never thought about it!  The pod part I get...maybe whoever designed it...their first or last name begins with R?   Curious to know now!

Maybe, it was the only some letter-Pod combination that wasn't service marked, trademarked or copyrighted. Or maybe F-pod wasn't acceptable, but R Pod was, as in FR the manufacturer.

Did Horizon Lussier has installed you a maxxair at purchase ?

I was thinking the r was for retro but I guess our-pod makes sense. Thinking I might stick with Retro-pod though...
