Sorry guys, but I'm still a noobie to trailers or towing.  Embarrassed

So how do you do it?

Do you have to remove the whole wheel to get to the bearings?

I follow the manufacturers guidelines.  Every spring, I remove the wheels, remove and inspect the bearings, clean and repack the bearings, adjust the breaks and reassemble.

I do not recommend using the zerk fittings to squirt in extra grease.  If grease gets past the rear seal, it will go directly on the brakes.
