How do you grease your wheel bearings?

Sorry guys, but I'm still a noobie to trailers or towing.  So how do you do it? Do you have to remove the whole wheel to get to the bearings? ------------- 2010 Rpod 172 :) 2004 Chevy Trailblazer |

I follow the manufacturers guidelines. Every spring, I remove the wheels, remove and inspect the bearings, clean and repack the bearings, adjust the breaks and reassemble. I do not recommend using the zerk fittings to squirt in extra grease. If grease gets past the rear seal, it will go directly on the brakes. ------------- Craig :: 2009 RP171 towed by a 2017 F150 |
