We brought home our little 177 pod 2 days ago and have been having fun starting to get things organized! Our one problem was the electrical connector to the van wiggled loose on the way home - I posted a question about that elsewhere. Neighbors are stopping in to take a look, since it is in our driveway. We are looking forward to our first outing! I've been reading postings here for the last couple of weeks to get ready for this. Wonderful information! Thanks to everyone for sharing your knowledge and experiences! |

Welcome. We had the same problem with a plug, I got a small bungy cord with a loop around the cord and hooked it on the van connection. Though after thinking about it, we might of accedently unplugged it filling up and washing the windows. ------------- Ready to pod around! |

Just hooked it on a bolt on the back of the mounting bracket ------------- Ready to pod around! |

Congratulations on your 177, we wish you many happy camping trips. If I understand correctly, then the problem is with the receptacle on your tow vehicle??

Hi. From one new owner to another - welcome! I've learned so much on this forum, and the members are really awesome - so helpful, really. Just like you, I, too, have been getting ready. I've been unpacking my big camper to load up the little one. I had so much stuff in the big one, that my kids will never notice anything is missing out of it! I can't wait to try out the R-Pod. Thanks! You have fun too! We've been trying to find an open few days to head for the coast for a trial run. Probably won't happen for a couple more weeks. We may have to try camping in the driveway!!! |

| Yes, the flap works it way up and off the tab on the plug, then the plug wiggles loose. I followed my husband home and watched as the lights went off as we started up a long fairly steep pass. He said it was clear the brakes weren't working on the way down. He'll be calling the service dept. at the dealer again tomorrow. |

cgarb, I envy you! I will be picking up my new 177 on Saturday. I can't wait to get started getting everything ready and stowed away. When I was a little girl, I always envied my neighbor friend's playhouse that her dad built for her.
