Rejoining the RV life after a long hiatus. I started by getting a new 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe, followed by a previously owned 2011 R-Pod 177. Not quite ready to hit the road though chomping at the bit! Grew up in a family that loved to camp, moving from tents to campers to motor home. RVing mostly solo for now. I'm a little rusty but I'm sure it will come back. First time trying to back it into my very tight yard spot, my spotter said, "You've done this before haven't you?" . Will likely have a question or two soon while I personalize this thing. Already ordered rear stabilizers since it only has front mounted stabalizers. There is an empty spot where other pictures of this model show a microwave, so guessing that was an "option". Will probably stick an air fryer there anyway since I stopped using microwaves. Replaced the cheesy mattress with a much thicker and definitely more comfy one. Would like to replace the seat cushions in the dinette too but that may be more challenging. The extremely limited storage is a bother so any suggestions are welcome. Any "gotcha's" to share about this particular vintage model?
Full disclosure: The photo is AI enhanced. Picture was taken on my ratty looking yard which I wasn't inclined to share . The AI enhanced the trailer to but its mostly true to form, but a bit more weathered and I'm also working on removing the peeling decals.
