Hello All R-Pod'ers. Not sure if this is the correct area of the forum for this question.

We have been looking and thinking of setting up a macerator on our R-Pod for the easy of tank dumping thru a long hose.

Have any of you folks had or have experience with using a macerator on your rv, and if so, any particular brand or tips and tricks?

I have not used one. General advice would be to look at reviews for the different brands. Consider that it is another piece of equipment that you would then need to store. Is it often that you would need to dump through a long hose? If not, is it worth the added hassle, or would another length of regular sewage hose be adequate for the purpose?
