Hello Everyone,

I'm an official old fart, but I finally got around to getting my first, and probably my only, camper.  It is a 2012 R-Pod 177.  Prior to this, I've only set foot in two or three campers, and I've only slept in one (for one night).  Mine has some wear, so I'm sure I'll be asking a lot of questions on how best to fix this or that.  And, of course, I don't know what I don't know.  So, I'll take no offense and anyone pointing out issues with my thinking or intended actions.  Just reading some of the posts here and watching some YouTube videos has my mind generating a zillion questions.  Hopefully, at some point I'll know enough to start contributing.  Until then...

...thanks for your patience,
Andrew

Hi, I am Capt Kidd.  I am not a new member but just wanted to tell you guys about my RPod 196.  Over the last 2 years it has been in all 49 contentental states and 9 Canadian provinses.  the only real troubles I have had is two bent axels.  Both on the right side.  This is my second RPod the first was a 177.  This one has gone over 40,000 miles and except for the bent axels no problems.  I belong to the Chico, CA Elks lodge and we have a very active RV club that has 10 outings a year February thru November.  This next year I plan to go up to Willams Lake in Canada then to Bella Colla on the coast and take the ferry over to Port Hardy and down to Vancouver then to Washington state on the ferry and then down the Pacific coast to Crescent City, CA snd then home to Chico

Time Outside:  Welcome to your 24/7  "Owners Manual."  I have been the proud owner of a 177 since ordering it back in January 2011.  Now, nearly 14 years and 50,000+ miles later, still hauling that dependable 177 behind me.  Ask away, the only bad question is the one not asked, but you already knew that.  I don't believe the 'old fart' idea, after all, you are still camping and enjoying life, keep making memories with your 177.
