It is for the outside light. If light fails to turn on then you will have to replace the bulb. Agreed. It is the outside light switch. Odd. The switch on our 2016 179 for the outside light is black, with an oversized, unlabeled, cover plate. The HVAC controller is on the left side of the toilet door, with the switch for the toilet light. ------------- 2016 179 Gastropod 2017 Ridgeline |

That falls under the rule, "Let no to 'Pods be built the same." Mine is similar to the picture with some variation on relative height of the switches. The outside light works with the switch that's on the light. The switch for the bathroom light is to the left of the door. I have 48 years in aircraft maintenance and repair. I believe I know how to change a light bulb. I am coming to understand that these campers are built one at a time and are wired differently. Thanks all for the replies . ------------- J.G.S. |
