Made it through the 4th camp without any issue only to discover after parking that the black pipe that runs from the tank to the valve broke away from the tank and had been dragged along for who know how long of the 110 mile drive back. No major bumps along the way or mishaps on the road so I’m
Not sure what happened here. Any idea on if it’s an easy fix? I I’ve only had the 190 since the end of July. This is a bummer.

I thought I had pictures in my mods, but I could not find them. Go to your local auto parts store. Get a muffler hanger. With a worm-drive clamp, clamp it around the black water drain pipe (once you get it repaired/replaced). Shorten the rubber part as needed, drill through it and using self-drilling/tapping bolts, bolt it to the frame in place of the flimsy strap. Don't feel alone. I had this happen to me twice. The factory installed a second flimsy strap. Both gave way. There won't be a third time.

Okay good to know. Oddly this wasn’t even the strap or metal hanger that broke. Those are still in tact. The break happened right where that pipe connects to the tank itself. That has completely broken off and the hanger was the only thing that saved it lol

Okay, did the pipe break, or did it slide out of the seal that holds it in? Mine is an elbow that is pushed into a gasket and then is held on by a clamp. I guess I should check mine to make sure it isn't coming out while the tank is empty. Then I can make sure the clamp is tight and hopefully avoid what you experienced. Yours is the first instance of that type of failure that I have read about. Not to say it has not happened before, but the hanger is much more common.

Let me know if the link works. I wasn’t able to upload my photo to this response for some reason. It appears it’s an elbow that connects to the tank. I don’t see a clamp though. Maybe that broke away or wasn’t there to begin with. Can’t tell if the elbow has simply fallen out or the plastic around the tank has broken cleanly. I’ve only taken this thing out 4 times since buying new.

As you can see, mine has a worm drive hose clamp. Was the pipe totally separated or partially attached when you discovered it? If it was totally separated, it could have fallen off. If it was partially attached still, then it may not have been installed at the factory. If your 'Pod is still under warranty, check with your dealer about repair. If you are doing it yourself, then add a hose clamp when you reassemble it. I don't know what kind of sealant that was used, but apparently it is insufficient by itself.

Okay I gotcha. Yeah that was no where to be seen. I discovered it when I was just about to back in and park. It had been detached completely and dragging for an unknown amount of time
By the metal hanger on the valve end. I reached out to the dealer already. I honestly can’t say for sure if that clamp was on there or not to begin with. Thank you for the photo and information!

If it would fit, I'd be inclined to put something like this on the connection: http:// www.supplyhouse.com/Fernco-1056-44RC-4-x-4-Strong-Back-PVC-Shielded-Coupling-Connects-Cast-Iron-PVC-Copper-Steel-or-Lead?utm_source=google_ad&utm_medium=Shopping_tm&utm_campaign=Shopping_TM_New_users&gclid=CjwKCAjwm8WZBhBUEiwA178UnHYI9_NtxOcdD7gCmEZps7T8JF5w1_eV54V78-t7pU4frvLEjBdsMxoCVqkQAvD_BwE -  https://www.supplyhouse.com/Fernco-1056-44RC-4-x-4-Strong-Back-PVC-Shielded-Coupling-Connects-Cast-Iron-PVC-Copper-Steel-or-Lead?utm_source=google_ad&utm_medium=Shopping_tm&utm_campaign=Shopping_TM_New_users&gclid=CjwKCAjwm8WZBhBUEiwA178UnHYI9_NtxOcdD7gCmEZps7T8JF5w1_eV54V78-t7pU4frvLEjBdsMxoCVqkQAvD_BwE

Thanks for the link!

I've brought it to the dealers attention and to be checked out on an upcoming recall visit for the front window. I may attempt to fix it myself if its as simple as installing a hose clamp. Thanks again!
